For those who love sleeping in, this lavender and silver windowless room features a lavish king bed with Simmons world class pillow-top mattress, the art of Gavyn Sky, a luscious reading chair and glass-top desk, and private bathroom.

Green Pastures: 🌾 Bunk Room
A tiny 4-bed bunkroom for children and teens with a golfing theme in honor of Alicia’s daddy, this room is normally used for retreats that overflow the other six bedrooms.

Living Waters: 💧 1 King bed
This earthy room features a king bed with Simmons world class pillow-top mattress, a chair worthy of your favorite read, a Narnian wardrobe, a half-circle writing desk, a private full bathroom, and a view of the woods.

New Creation: ✨ 1 Queen Bed
An inspiring room of salmon and crème, New Creation features an ornate queen bed with a Simmons world-class mattress, a purple-chocolate velvet chaise, and a spacious leather-topped writing desk. A full bathroom is just outside the door in the hallway. New Creation is our only bedroom with a private deck overlooking the lake.

Restoration: 🕊️ 1 King Bed and 2 Twin Beds
Rivendell’s Master Suite features a king carved sleigh bed drenched in chocolate and teal with a memory-foam mattress, private sunroom and deck, view of the woods, ornate French writing desk, reading chaise, TV, Jacuzzi tub, and infrared sauna in the private bathroom.

The Scroll: 📜 1 Queen Bed
This dramatic room was designed by an author to inspire writers. The Scroll features first floor wheel-chair accessibility, a private bathroom with double-shower heads, poster queen bed with Simmon’s world class firm mattress, and a hand-painted writing desk.

Eagles Watch: 1 King Bed
Old World charm marks this lake-view room which features an comfortable king bed, a leather chaise, a hand-painted writing desk, a close-to-guaranteed sighting of eagles flying over the tree tops, and a private bathroom (shower only). This room is wrapped in rich browns, warm golds, and blacks.

The sunset from the dock is well-worth the hike, but please know that it is a moderate 4.5 minute downhill natural path hike. Trickier spots have stairs but the waterfront is only accessible via the path through the woods.

Our home is now 27 years old and every year we tackle a new project. In 2018, that was a new roof. In 2019, a new heating/air unit. And our focus in 2025 is to refresh the exterior siding and do some landscaping.

Please note that our home is in the WOODS on a LAKE in the OZARKS. Paved and wooden stair paths weave throughout the 8+ acres but if you're looking for a manicured arboretum, please keep looking. However, if you're up for some hiking, love the outdoors, and aren't bugged by bugs, you'll really enjoy exploring Rivendell's acreage! There's 7 park benches to discover, a creek bed to explore, and in the spring there's a little waterfall to find.

We are located about 15 minutes from The Landing and the Branson “strip” so that you have easy/quick access to all of the shows, entertainment (go-karts, bumper boats), outlet malls, and restaurants. We're only about 25 minutes from the iconic Silver Dollar City which you will certainly want to visit during your stay. Our driveway is long, with a 2-car party garage, so there is space to park your boat and vehicles.
